UIL One-Act Play competition
Over the Tavern
This play is set in 1959, and offers a glimpse into the life of a family who lives above their family-owned tavern. This was the UIL competition production for Austin High, which, I am thrilled to say, won the state level of competition that year. I constructed the school uniform vest, skirt and ties for the students, several apron/skirt combinations for the mother, and the nun’s habit and bonnet.
